When using footage of our events ("Services"), we ask you to follow these guidelines ("Policy") to ensure that our footage is used correctly.

1. Scope of Policy

This Policy applies across all platforms that allow the upload of media and audio. Every platform may introduce specific policies for DMCA, Copyright, Trademark and more protection. These are valid on those platforms. Law applies.

2. Copyright material

2.1 PLE's

Our Premium-LIVE-Events ("PLE") are protected under these guidelines. Premium-LIVE-Events are;

  • DBDCompNet Awards
  • Main Event

These events are reupload-able under following conditions;

  1. the original creator (DBDCompNet Management) must be tagged in the video or audio description,
  2. a link to the DBDCompNet website must be always shown, including the official Discord server,
  3. a banner stating that this material is by the DBDCompNet must be shown in the video (video only),
  4. at the beginning of an audio, you need to be able to hear "original footage was taken from the DBDCompNet".

When these conditions apply, we may not act, unless any hateful speech or another topic is mentioned that we do not agree on.

2.2 Other events

Other events, smaller events or co-host events are free to reupload, unless the main broadcaster has something against it.

We may still act if we find material that does not fit with our view.

2.3 Media

All media used by the DBD Comp Union, that is original and not AI created is under copyright.

The DBD Logo in our media is owned by Behaviour Interactive.

We do not allow the usage of our media (photos, gifs) unless you have been given them personally by our Administration.

2.4 Texts

All our texts on the website, rules, guidelines and advertisements are strictly copyrighted and may never be used by third parties unless allowed.

3. Compilations

Content Creators are free to use material under fair use. Twitch-Clips are copyrighted, including YouTube-Shorts or TikToks.

When creating compilations, follow these guidelines;

  1. the DBDCompNet (website) must be linked in the compilation description,
  2. when displayed, the DBDCompNet official event banner may not be removed or edited out of the video.
