Back to SupportRating Systems Grading
The DBDCompNet Rating System is used to evaluate how reliable a team or player is when participating in competitive environments. This score helps organizations determine whether a team or player should be accepted into tournaments or organizations.
1. Overview
The rating system is designed similarly to credit scoring systems. It evaluates behavior, compliance, and reliability based on previous actions within the DBDCompNet ecosystem.
2. Purpose
The rating score is used by organizations and the DBDCompNet to:
- Determine eligibility for tournaments
- Assess reliability of teams and players
- Improve trust between organizations
3. Score Factors
Each team or player is evaluated based on four key factors:
- Compliance with Code of Conduct
- Scheduling Compliance (weighted higher)
- Compliance with Balancing
- Compliance with Rules
4. Scoring System
Each category is rated between 1 and 18. These values are combined into a final score using an internal formula.
Note: The exact formula used to calculate the final score is not publicly disclosed.
5. Usage of Ratings
Organizations may use this rating to accept or deny players and teams into events or their platform. Higher scores indicate higher reliability and compliance.
6. Important Notes
- All teams start with a default high rating
- Ratings may change based on reports and behavior
- The system is continuously reviewed and adjusted
